Ever heard the inspirational quote, “If you believe it, you can achieve it?” There have been a number of books written about the idea that what you focus on and think about is what will appear in your life. Books such as The Secret and Manifest Method promote that you can dwell on something and want it enough to make it appear.
While I don’t believe that you can just think about something really hard and POOF it appears, genie-style, I do believe that when you focus on something and are willing to put the work into it, it can come to be a reality in your life.
Because of this, I know it’s important to reflect on your thoughts, to consider what you believe. If you believe you aren’t going to progress in your career, then guess what? You probably won’t.
Look at your life—what do you think is going to appear in one year, three years, or five years based on how you’re living right now?
What do you believe about money?
Your health?
Your friends?
Your family?
Your faith?
Your home?
Your work?
Your past?
Your future?
What are you thinking about right this second?
Do you spend any time thinking about others?
Do you spend too much time thinking about what others think about you?
Don’t let your thoughts hold you back from your potential, and don’t let your unwillingness to consider the possibilities keep you from doing more than you can imagine. Dream it, believe it, then put in the work to make it a reality and achieve it.
So tell me: What do you think?
